Personal

Moses is a native Houstonian who decided to follow his lifelong dream to practice law after a 20-year career in education. His prior career afforded him opportunities to work in schools, colleges, hospitals, and local non-profit organizations. He taught 8th-grade Social Studies at Stevenson Middle School in the Houston Independent School District just before attending South Texas College of Law Houston.

In law school, Moses completed a judicial internship and clerked in the General Counsel section of the Harris County Attorney’s Office. He volunteered for TexasLawHelp.com, providing resources to fellow Texans in real property, contracts, family law, and court procedures. In his final year, he became a certified mediator and served as the Managing Editor for the South Texas Law Review.

After graduation, Moses explored opportunities to deepen his practice of law in contract drafting and general civil litigation matters involving breaches of contract, landlord-tenant conflicts, real property disputes, and construction law.

In addition to practicing law, Moses enjoys biking along Houston’s bayous, travelling to state and national parks, and being active at Covenant Church.
