Laura is a Texas native and was raised in Killeen, Texas. After receiving a degree in Government and English from the University of Texas at Austin, she attended South Texas College of Law Houston. At South Texas, she participated in Baylor Law’s Academy of the Advocate, the Thomas Tang Moot Court Competition, and the Rendigs Products Liability Moot Court Competition.

After graduation, she practiced immigration law for over two years. She specialized in asylum claims and between 2024 to 2025, succeeded in granting four of her clients asylum in the Houston Immigration Courts.

Outside of the office, Laura enjoys traveling, trivia, and spending time with friends and family.
