Cynthia Pickett has extensive litigation experience, including contract disputes and torts, involving: oil and gas; condemnation; real estate; commercial financing; corporations and partnerships; directors, officers, shareholders and partners; financial institutions; and agriculture. She has also represented clients in administrative proceedings before the Texas Railroad Commission; the Texas State Office of Hearing Examiners related to TCEQ Rulings; Texas Air Control Board; and the EPA. Representative clientele and topical areas of representation include:
- Oil & Gas: Drilling, exploration and production; contract disputes; Pipeline condemnations; Royalty and Working Interest accountings and other disputes; Farmouts, operating agreements, equipment and other vendor contract disputes.
- Real Estate: Commercial financing, development, and construction contract disputes; surety contract disputes; leasing contract disputes.
- Business Entities: Officer, Director and Shareholder and Partner disputes; trade secrets claims.
- Financial Institutions: Collections and foreclosures, including bankruptcy interventions, and regulatory compliance.

Cynthia Pickett received her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from South Texas College of Law in 1980, and is admitted to practice before the Texas State and Federal District Courts for the Southern, Eastern, Western, and Northern Districts, the U.S. 5th and 11th Circuit Courts of Appeal; and the U.S. Supreme Court.
